Eligible US sellers on Fanatics Collect can choose to receive sale proceeds in FanCash instead of cash in exchange for a 0% marketplace seller fee. This applies to both Buy Now and Auction sales. Vault fees tied to a sale are still charged as normal; only the marketplace seller fee is waived. To get the 0% fee you must select FanCash payout at listing, since accounts default to cash (Account Funds) with the standard fee. There is no cap on how much FanCash you can earn.

How to switch to a FanCash payout (0% fees):

1. Open the **Fanatics Collect** app and go to your collection.
2. Select the item you want to list, choose **“Buy Now”** or **“Auction,”** and tap **“Continue.”**
3. Turn on the **“FanCash payout - 0% fees”** toggle.
4. Tap **“Continue”** again.
5. Review your choices and click **“Confirm.”**

**Which sale types are eligible for the FanCash Payouts?**

Both Buy Now and Auction sales on Fanatics Collect. Vault fees associated with any sale are still charged as normal, and only the marketplace seller fee is waived.

**Which sellers are eligible?**

All eligible US-based sellers on Fanatics Collect.

**How do I choose to be paid in FanCash?**

Select the FanCash payout option before you list the item. By default, accounts receive cash payouts (Account Funds) with the standard seller fee, so you have to actively choose FanCash.

**Is there a cap on how much FanCash I can earn?**

No. There is no cap on the amount of FanCash you can earn.

**Can I change my payout choice after I've listed an item?**

It depends on the sale type.

* **Buy Now:** You can edit your payout choice any time up until the sale is finalized (offer acceptance or checkout). If you have an active offer on a card you're selling, you'll need to reject that offer before you can change your payout choice.
* **Auctions:** You can change your payout choice until an auction goes live. If you want to make a change after your auction goes live, please reach out to the [Support team](https://fanatics.kustomerapp.com/app/settings/kb/articles/68e653cf72f79151f3d9d0d0/edit?tabName=settings). Please note once an auction is complete, the Support team can not make any more changes.

**Is FanCash from a Collect sale different from FanCash earned elsewhere?**

No. It's the same FanCash you earn across Fanatics, with no extra redemption restrictions.

**Where can I spend FanCash?**

FanCash can be redeemed on purchases at Fanatics.com, the Fanatics app, Fanatics partner sites, and Topps.com. On Fanatics Live it can be used on fixed-price items (not auctions). On Fanatics Collect it can be used on any purchase, including market buys, live break auctions, Vault submissions, grading, and shipping requests.

**Can I withdraw FanCash to my bank account?**

No. FanCash earned from card sales can't be withdrawn to a bank account. It can be redeemed on the purchases listed above. If you want a cash payout, choose Account Funds at the time you list your item.

**How quickly will I receive my FanCash after a sale?**

FanCash payouts follow the same timing as standard Account Funds payouts. Every transaction, regardless of payout choice, goes through the same standard fraud review before funds are released. There is no separate expedited or delayed timeline for FanCash.

**Will my FanCash expire?**

FanCash earned from an eligible purchase or qualifying transaction expires at 11:59 PM EST one year from the date of that purchase or transaction. Any later eligible purchase or qualifying transaction on a FanCash Platform extends the expiration date for all FanCash in your account. For example, if you earned $10.00 in FanCash on an eligible purchase on January 8, 2024, and you make another eligible purchase on December 21, 2024, the expiration date for that $10.00 extends to 11:59 PM EST on December 21, 2025.

**What happens if FanCash from a card sale expires?**

If it expires, you receive Account Funds equal to the original sale price minus a 6% Marketplace Fee and a 4% Administrative Fee.

**Are vault fees still charged if I choose FanCash?**

Yes. Vault fees are charged as normal regardless of your payout choice. If you have outstanding vault fees, you'll receive less FanCash than the gross sale price.

****For Auctions that offer a variable seller bonus, do sellers who opt for FanCash still receive the bonus plus the hammer price? Does this apply to Auctions and Buy Now?****

When you elect FanCash, you receive 100% of what the buyer pays, including the Buyer's Premium where applicable.

For Buy Now sales: you receive 100% of the total sale price.
Example: Your item sells for $120. You receive $120 in FanCash.

For Auction sales: you receive 100% of the winning bid plus the Buyer's Premium, which typically comes out to 120% of the winning bid.
Example: Your item sells for $100 at auction. The buyer pays $120 total (winning bid + 20% Buyer's Premium). You receive $120 in FanCash.

This is different from an Account Funds (cash) payout, where the standard marketplace fee applies to Buy Now sales, and Auction sales are paid out based on the winning bid plus any seller bonus tier (ranging 100%-115% of the winning bid), with the Buyer's Premium retained separately by Fanatics Collect.

**How is a FanCash payout treated for tax purposes?**

Choosing to receive a payout in FanCash rather than cash may not change the tax treatment of that payout. You are solely responsible for determining the tax treatment and any reporting obligations associated with a FanCash payout, and you should consult a qualified tax professional about your own situation. Nothing in these FAQs constitutes tax advice, and Fanatics Collect makes no representation regarding the tax treatment of a FanCash payout.
